Can confirm that the 360 version has problems still. Looking at a blurry screen right now while the bottom corner says "launching session" for the first race. This has been happening since GTA ONLINE went live for me. Frustrating to say the least. For you other 360 players who can play...F*** You!... ...seriously though consider yourselves lucky.

Was finally able to get in and pads the first mission. For the 360 users all I can say is keep trying. Once you get past that things smooth out.

I was helping my brother get in earlier. Apparently it can help to start over and make a new character.

Yeah well,I wasn´t even able to get in for almost two days on the PS3 and apparently that´s version with the most issues of the two,or so multiple media sources report.

As much as I hate to say it...Mr. Kutaragi is right. There's some serious problems still with the 360 version and no patch in sight. After getting past the first mission myself I can say it runs smooth then, but that's no help to those stuck before that. This patch can't come fast enough.

Is there some way of getting a permanent parachute? I remember someone saying it was the reward for finishing all of Trevor's gun running missions or whatever, but I've been doing these missions forever and they just keep going.

As much as I hate to say it...Mr. Kutaragi is right. There's some serious problems still with the 360 version and no patch in sight. After getting past the first mission myself I can say it runs smooth then, but that's no help to those stuck before that. This patch can't come fast enough.

The ps3 version of the game didn't work at all before they patched. The 360 version works, barely but it works. R* priority was to get the PSN version up to snuff.

It seems utterly random. I got the permanent parachute after doing 3 drug run airplane missions. Some people say they got it in other areas, like finishing all of the parachute jumps. You'll get a notification when it happens.

My character (level 20) got deleted and was replaced with a level 0 female looking character w/ headphones with all my bank cash. R* says they are "working on it", hundreds (if not thousands) of people have apparently had the same thing happen to them and it's still happening. Rockstar's support page is being flooded with people saying their characters got deleted. Just giving everyone a heads up that this game is still incredibly buggy and you run a relatively high risk of losing your character right now.

I was referring to the time the report was released, where it hadn't yet outsold the 360. Whether or not it has at this point I can't comment on since I couldn't care less about sales figures, but I'll take your word for it.

Yep. Getting official sales data from companies is always difficult as these companies can chose to present the data in whatever way they like. Sites like VGChartz use predictions but they are always off. I think the reason Sony includes all its sales figures under one banner is for investors. Investors don't care about the individual units, they just want to know that a product/product family is selling well. Since Sony make 3 Playstation platforms, it makes sense to combine them. For an investor, seeing 120 million Playstation units sold is a lot better than seeing 78 million for PS3, 14 million for PS2 and 40K for PS Vita.

Online is alright, I just wished they kept modes from GTA 4 like cops n crooks. I also wished that you could have more than 2 teams in team deathmatch. I also miss those colors for each player in a GTA 4 lobby, so much easier to tell whos who.

Neither did I, all my friends and everyone I talked to was suffering from all sorts of issues, but somehow I managed to avoid them. Then out of the blue my level 20 character got deleted last night and I'm waiting (hoping) for him to be recovered.

Online is extremely risky, just know that whatever progress you put in now may be randomly deleted and possibly never restored. That's why I'm waiting till all these problems become resolved.

The website is finally showing your online char and its a good way to know if its deleted or not (should show up if its on the servers still)
